IGT Toscana – “Le Stanze” Poliziano
One of the great, modern reds, we named this wine Le Stanzein honour of the poet Angelo Ambrogini, known as “Poliziano”.Produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Le Stanze has a style that is classic Bordeaux “a la Tuscany”.It allows us to cater to international tastes while remembering the traditional value of Montepulciano and its place in the production of great wines with strong ageing potential.

HARVEST METHOD: Manual in crates
VINIFICATION: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, with milling that includes repassing the must over the grape dregs.Fermentation and maceration take 20 – 25 days.
REFINEMENT: 16 months in new “barriques” of French oak.
